Kathy (or Red, as she is known) began Pilates 22 years ago on the advice of her Physical Therapist to help with chronic pain.  She added yoga to her routine a few years later and found even more relief with this meditative practice.

In her mid-fifties she began taking classes at All About Yoga, which was also a yoga school.  She completed their 200-RYT certification in 2013, with an additional 300-level certification in 2014. In 2015 she completed another certification in Yin Yoga. She has been teaching yoga since 2013, and is a member of Yoga Alliance with an RYT-500.  Kathy has studied various yoga styles and adapts her classes well to needs of the students. A voracious reader, when not doing yoga or Pilates she can be found with her nose in a book. Her favorite classes tend to be gentle, Yin or Restorative; and she adores working with folks who are brand new to yoga.
