What’s the vibe like at your studio?

About Pilates or Yoga
Difference between Mat and Reformer
Mat Pilates is done on a yoga or Pilates mat using just your body weight and occasionally small props like a ring, ball, or light weights. Reformer Pilates, on the other hand, uses a specialized machine with spring resistance to either challenge the body more or offer support in certain movements. Both are full-body workouts, but each brings its own unique set of challenges—mat focuses more on control and stability using your own strength, while the reformer can increase intensity or help refine alignment and form.
Do you have beginner level classes?
Foundations Reformer is our beginner level class. This class is taught at a slower pace and has more foundational movement.

Community Classes vs Regular Classes
Community Classes are taught by teacher trainees who are working on obtaining hours for their certification. These classes are offered at a discounted rate, as the instructor is not fully certified yet. Regular classes are taught by fully certified instructors.
What do I need to bring to class?
Reformer classes require you to have grippy socks. Mat classes require you to bring your own mat or rent one from the studio. We suggest you bring water to all classes.
Can I take pilates if I’m pregnant?
This is a case by case basis as each client has had different activity history. Please consult your doctor before attending classes.
Why would you recommend a private session?
Why would you recommend a private session?
Private sessions are good for both beginner and intermediate students. If you’re a beginner and would like to know what you’re walking into before you take a group class on a new machine, this is a great way to learn about the machine, form, common exercises that you’ll see in a group setting and this is great to get you comfortable to tackle a group class with a clear understanding of what the instructor is asking of you. If you’re an advanced/intermediate practitioner, and this is a great way to get specific form corrections, work towards a more advanced move. More focused attention to work through an injury, range of motion etc.
