Pilates Mat

Pilates Mat classes are a full body workout that create long, lean muscles. Pilates Mat is performed on a mat on the floor and achieves results by using gravity and your body’s own resistance — and sometimes small props, such as foam rollers, the magic circle or ring, balls or weights. This beginner friendly class is ideal for multiple fitness levels. Pilates Mat will improve your flexibility, posture, strength, and balance.

Pilates Sculpt

Pilates Sculpt is a combination of a Pilates Mat class with additional weights and more toning and sculpting. This class is for developing lean muscles and strength while working on stretching, toning and alignment. While still working on core strength and stretching, this class incorporates high-intensity cardio bursts to maximize a calorie-burning effect.

Pilates Bootcamp

Pilates Bootcamp is a mix of Pilates, cardio, strength training, and stretching. In this class you will use props and your own body’s resistance to build your strength, stamina, and flexibility. This class is fast paced and meant to get your heart rate up while combining lengthening and strengthening for a full body workout.

Barre Fusion

Barre classes incorporate the fluidity of ballet, the flexibility of yoga, and the core strengthening of Pilates–with no dance experience required! Barre provides a low impact workout that combines light weights with other props to ensure you get a challenging workout every time! The class uses the ballet barre for the perfect blend of deep muscle toning, stretching, balancing, and cardiovascular intervals guaranteed to pump up your heart rate and burn fat! It is a structured, easy-to-follow total body workout.

Reformer: Mixed Levels

Reformer Pilates is a great way to work your core and improve total body conditioning without placing stress on your joints. Great for all fitness levels; instructors can modify or intensify each exercise to adapt to all individuals and levels.

A foundational Pilates reformer class where we review the basics of the Pilates reformer. Good for beginning students brand new to the reformer and students wishing to work on basics and form.

Jumpboard Reformer

A fast paced Pilates reformer class where we use low impact jumping to increase the heart rate while building muscle. Great for students looking for a combination of cardio & strengthening without impact and strain on joints.

Reformer & Chair Sculpt

A Pilates apparatus class for students who have previous experience with the reformer. This class utilizes the Pilates reformer and Wunda chair for an added challenge.

Restorative/Yin Yoga

Yin yoga consists of passive poses that are held 3-7 minutes, primarily on the floor. In this class you will practice stillness and access deeper tissues such as the fascia and connective tissues. Yin yoga is a great compliment to any yang practice (such as a vinyasa flow class). This class will help with your flexibility and meditation as well as release tension.

Aroma Yin Yoga

Come on a candlelit journey as you use your breath to release into total relaxation. Focusing on mind, body, and soul, this yin yoga practice releases toxins, blockages, and stagnant energies to leave you feeling refreshed and renewed. Participants relax to melt into passive stretching postures, held for 1-5 minutes, before working into the 12 facial meridians, the joints, and the connective tissues. Woven throughout this slow-moving yin is Optional Specialized Aromatherapy with therapeutic grade essential oils–to help open the limbic system, balance chakras,  and enhance your unique yoga experience. Each oil is distributed with a dropper, so there’s no skin-to-skin contact or cross-contamination. And, of course, every participant has the option to silently opt out of the AromaTherapy portion.

Candlelight Restorative Aroma Yin

This yoga class helps facilitate deep rest and healing by slowing down movement, breath, and the mind, helping to activate the parasympathetic nervous system. Utilizing tools and props, restorative poses are very subtle, with no deep stretching sensations to allow the body to gently open. This class utilizes medicinal grade essential oils to ignite the limbic system to support a deeper connection of emotion to practice and support the body’s energy systems.All levels are encouraged.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga Class

Vinyasa yoga is a popular style of yoga that “flows,” connecting the breath with a series of poses. The rhythm of a class helps us calm our minds and deepen our connection to those around us. The dynamic movements link the body with the breath to achieve strength, flexibility, and self-confidence. Our instructors help you achieve the best alignment so that you get the most out of your practice. Vinyasa is a faster paced class that can also offer cardio benefits.

Mixed Level Yoga Class

Mixed Level Yoga is accessible for all yogis. Instructors teach modifications of the various poses to accommodate students of different levels and abilities. As in other yoga classes, in this class you will practice alignment, body awareness, breath work, balance, and core engagement. This class is welcome to all levels.

Gentle Flow Yoga

Gentle flow yoga is a vinyasa class taught at a slower place than most vinyasa flow classes in order to accommodate all levels. Vinyasa yoga is a popular style of yoga that “flows,” connecting the breath with a series of poses. The rhythm of a class helps us calm our minds and deepen our connection to those around us. The dynamic movements link the body with the breath to achieve strength, flexibility, and self-confidence. Our instructors help you achieve the best alignment so that you get the most out of your practice.This class offers variations and is designed to be gentle enough for someone new to yoga and also good for the experienced yogi.

Senior Yoga

Senior yoga offers all the same benefits as other yoga classes: fostering the mind/body connection through mindful breathing, increased muscle tone, strength, balance and coordination, improved posture, and better flexibility, not to mention the social benefits of friendship with teachers and fellow students.

Senior yoga accommodates specific areas that might be different for seniors–such as knee replacements or osteoporosis. Balancing is done at the wall for support and we do not get up and down off of the floor multiple times. Teachers offer variations so that students can have the best practice for their own bodies. We’re never too old for yoga!

Reformer Pilates Community Class

This class is taught by our teacher trainees working to complete their 450 hour Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training and is offered at a discounted rate. Reformer Pilates is a Pilates class on a the reformer (also known as the apparatus) which is a machine using springs and pulleys to challenge the body with variable resistance. This variable resistance makes Reformer Pilates unique, giving you accelerated results. Group Reformer classes are a positive and upbeat way to keep your routines challenging. Instructors ensure that you understand each exercise, and they offer variety in the classes to mix it up. Reformer Pilates are a great way to work your Core and improve total body conditioning without placing stress on your joints. Great for all fitness levels; instructors can modify or intensify each exercise to adapt to all individuals and levels. Classes utilize the Pilates Reformer, Pilates Chair, and Pilates Springboard.
