Kim Tuthill
Studio Owner & Pilates Instructor
Kim has always been an entrepreneur at heart. Building something from the ground up, leading with vision, and creating spaces that feel both inspiring and inclusive. But when she took her first Pilates session, something shifted. For the first time, her mind (usually running in a hundred directions) quieted. That one hour gave her more than just a good workout; it gave her access to herself. She was hooked.
What started as a movement practice quickly became something much bigger. Kim found a home in the Pilates + Yoga community. The studio wasn’t just a place to move; it was a place to connect, to heal, and to grow. She soon enrolled in teacher training at P+Y and eventually began leading it, bringing both her business acumen and passion for mentorship to the table. Kim is also a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher through the Pilates Method Alliance, a credential that reflects her commitment to high-quality, integrity-driven instruction.
As someone who doesn’t fit the mold of the stereotypical Pilates instructor often seen on social media, Kim felt called to shift the narrative. She wanted to represent what this practice is truly about: strength, resilience, longevity, and accessibility for every body, not just the “right” body type.
Before this chapter, Kim spent years in the fashion industry (first as a buyer for established retail brands, then as a boutique owner) where she learned the art of seeing people, not just products. She loved curating pieces that helped women feel good in their own skin, watching confidence grow through something as simple as the right fit or fabric. That experience taught her that personal transformation often begins with how we feel in our bodies, not how we look. It’s the same philosophy that guides her leadership at Pilates + Yoga today. Creating experiences that honor individuality, build confidence, and help people feel at home in themselves.
Becoming the sole owner of Pilates + Yoga felt like a natural evolution. Kim cares deeply about this space and the people in it. Her mission is to offer more than just classes. She wants P+Y to feel like a second home: a place where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered to move in a way that honors their unique body.
For Kim, this isn’t just business, it’s community. It’s connection. It’s purpose.
Tracey Gittins
Pilates Manager & Instructor
Born and raised in Warrington, England, Tracey Gittins discovered her rhythm early in life, setting the stage for a career as a professional dancer. After completing her formal dance training in the UK she performed all over the globe for 20+ years, ending up on the dazzling stages of Las Vegas.
A dedicated Pilates enthusiast, Tracey earned her Pilates certification from DK Body Balancing at UNLV over a decade ago, but it wasn’t until last year that she embraced her passion for teaching.
She discovered Pilates during her career as a professional dancer, drawn to its familiar form and the undeniable benefits it offers to dancers.
Upon retiring from the stage, she transitioned into teaching Pilates, viewing it as a natural progression in her career. In 2022 Tracey stepped into the role of Pilates instructor at Pilates + Yoga in Las Vegas where she has channeled the expertise gained from her dance background with her passion for movement into guiding others on their wellness journey. Tracey’s dedication is evident in her commitment to creating a warm and inclusive space where everyone, regardless of background or ability, can embrace and enjoy the benefits of Pilates.
Tracey also holds her certification in Pregnancy Pilates, showcasing her versatility and understanding of the interconnectedness of mind and body. Tracey has found profound fulfillment in guiding this special population through the transformative practice of Pilates.
Beyond the studio, Tracey embraces the beautiful chaos of motherhood, cherishing the role of being a mom to her 8-year-old daughter.
Stephanie “Smithy” Smith
Yoga Manager & Instructor
A 22-year Las Vegas resident, originally from snowy Toronto, Canada (talk about a change), Smithy discovered yoga late in her professional dance career when she realized her body wasn’t loving the stage life as much as she did. What originally started as a method to strengthen and maintain her body—and hopefully reverse some of the damage dancing had done—became a deep love of the practice.
So when Smithy was offered the chance to attend yoga teacher training, she rolled up her mat and leapt in feet first. Training taught her there was so much more to yoga than she ever thought, and she couldn’t wait to share the practice with others in a meaningful and approachable way. Soon after completing her yoga teacher training, Smithy became fascinated with the nervous system in relation to grief, trauma, and stress and dove deep into the vital role yoga plays in the process of moving through difficult experiences and rebalancing the nervous system. Today, she loves nothing more than helping others heal, restore, rebalance, and tap into the power of play through the practice of yoga. When she’s not on her mat, she’s most likely snuggling her two fur babies, Zoey and Bob or enthusiastically watching a hockey game (go knights go!).
Kerry Margolin
Pilates Instructor & Physical Therapist
Kerry Margolin is a BASI certified Pilates instructor, NASM CPT, and barre3 instructor. She hails from New Hampshire and holds a BFA from the University of Arizona where she studied dance and psychology. Upon graduating, her ten year dance career took her around the world as a Radio City Rockette, Las Vegas showgirl, and production dancer for Norwegian Cruise Lines.
She has been training Las Vegas clients since her arrival in 2011 and is experienced with a wide variety of populations ranging anywhere from pre and postnatal to geriatric but she has always had a soft spot for people dealing with injuries and looking to improve their overall function.
Her desire for learning more about the human body and movement system drove Kerry to return to the classroom, and she is currently a third year graduate student at UNLV pursuing her degree as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Her mission is to help her clients/patients improve their quality of life through healthy movement.
She likes to recognize that aging is a privilege, and she strives to empower people to take control of their wellness and age with purpose.
Rachel Glenn
Studio Manager
Rachel Glenn grew up in Alabama and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Auburn University. She moved to Las Vegas in 2017 to pursue her Master’s degree at UNLV. Currently, she is a middle school band director in CCSD, but she was also promoted to Studio Manager at P+Y at the beginning of 2025!
Rachel began her pilates journey in 2022 as a client, seeking a low-impact workout that would be gentle on her knees after undergoing surgery on both and receiving an arthritis diagnosis before turning 30! She discovered reformer classes and quickly fell in love with the form-focused workouts, which she could tailor to her ability level while building strength and protecting her joints.
A few months later, she began working the front desk at the studio one night a week. One night turned into two, which eventually turned into three, and soon she became a familiar face for all the clients and a support system for Kim.
As Studio Manager, Rachel is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, addressing client inquiries, and maintaining the studio’s upkeep. While she is not yet a Pilates instructor (she will begin training in Spring 2025!), Rachel is a teacher by trade and enjoys helping clients in any way she can.
