Please see below for all updates to our policies due to Covid-19. We’re grateful for your continuing loyalty, and we want you to know that our greatest priority and responsibility at Pilates+Yoga is our clients and instructors.
50 minute classes
Until further notice, classes will now be of 50 minutes duration, giving instructors and clients ample time between classes to properly sanitize equipment with anti-viral cleaners, and time for people to wash hands for at least 20 seconds duration. We’re also paying attention to sanitizing floors, door handles, and other frequently touched surfaces. We have sanitizer and alcohol-based hand sanitizer, but everyone is encouraged to bring their own.
We have an ample supply of clean towels at all times if you care to use one for lying on a ball or mat. We also encourage you to bring your own. Please bring your own props (block, blanket, strap) if you have them. If you don’t already, please consider wearing socks and a headband so that you can keep your hands away from your face.
As you know, we have always had mats available for use free of charge. Moving forward we will NOT be offering mats. Please bring your own to class. If you do not have a mat or bring a mat, you can purchase one at the studio. Please also bring any props you have and would like for class ie blankets, blocks, etc.
Our cancellation policy has always been the most lenient in town at 3 hours (most studios ask for 24 hours). However, we will be changing this to 12 hours. That is, if you do not cancel a class 12 hours before the class, you will be charged the cancellation fee.
The new policy will go into effect on June 1st, giving everyone ample time and notice to sign up for classes and see if spots will be available. This means if you make a reservation for a class and cannot make it, you will need to cancel at least 12 hours before the start of class or there will be a $15 late cancel fee. This will also apply for no shows. Cancellations must be done online or through the app. Cancellations cannot be made over the phone or via email.
We love our seniors! Out of our concern for their continuing good health, senior yoga classes will be the last to reopen in the studio. Before setting any dates, we need to see how the phased-in reopening goes. When we’re confident that our community has flattened the curve, senior yoga classes at the studio will become available again. Until then, senior yoga will continue online for active members.
For reformer classes we know you’re used to booking your spots ahead of time. However, we will now be encouraging pre-booking for mat classes as well, as the capacity will be limited to 9 people. Classes must be booked online. You, of course, are welcome to drop in; but clients with a reservation are guaranteed a spot, whereas drop-ins are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Reservations can be made online or through the Mindbody app.
Wearing a mask is a visible social cue that you’re concerned with the health and safety of others. We encourage you to wear a mask to class and all of our instructors will be doing the same.
Checking in to Classes
There will be no waiting area at the studio. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early to class. If you are early please wait in your car or outside. When you come in to the studio please sign in and purchase any socks, water, etc and then go straight to your reformer or mat.
